Anytrans crack forum9/9/2023 There were also two types of drive clutches used, cam clutches with 3 little rollers and the trunnion clutch with a long vertical bar. 800s and early 8000s had blue PTO springs and after had red, the red has more holding power. Early 800s had keyed shafts and then later after that they were all splined. 800/8000 all used straight axles, 8000-G/G used tapered. Though you can pretty much use any trans from an 800 all the way to a G series, you just might have to move shafts to the case instead of maybe just swapping a good PTO clutch in the trans you buy.ΔΆ. Most are the same except for a few changes like straight or tapered axles, splined or keyed clutch shafts, hydraulic pump equipped or not (for the lift), and blue or red PTO clutch spring (but if its a trans with a bad one then the point is moot.) Most likely you want one with straight axles, splined clutch shafts, w/ hydro, and a red spring. Finding one with a bad PTO clutch will be on the cheaper end. Anywhere from free to a couple hundred maybe.
